Smokey Mountain -- Day 4

Today was a day for the kids.  After a leisurely morning at the campsite, (and of course Mom is mean and made my siblings do Math again!!!) we headed to Pigeon Forge.
We found coupons for free black light mini golf at the campground that we are staying at.  Thinking there must be a catch, we took them but did not anticipate free golf.  Lo and behold, my family got to play for free!  They had fun.  As usual, Mom lost to Dad.  But in a surprise turn of events Riley beat Jane!

The plan was to head to go-karts next but the kids decided that they wanted to take all the money they would have spent on more activities and go to a dinner show.  So, off the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s they went.  It was a fun event.  Unfortunately, the decision was so last minute that they split us among two tables.  Mom and Dad would have liked to have sat at one table and put Jane, Riley and Aidan at another but they made an adult sit at each table.  But the tables were side by side so they could still talk, etc.  Mom did not realize there were be tap dancing in the show.  She loves to watch tap dancing so that was a real treat for her.  The bummer part is that the gluten free meal did not include dessert so mom watched as everyone else ate pudding but she did not have any… she ate all her meat but never got pudding. L  Mom is going to try to find their recipe for the potatoes… those were heavenly!

Riley was mesmerized by the show and Aidan did a lot of dancing in his seat.  Jane was laughing and enjoying herself.  My siblings enjoyed it so much they want to do another one next time they come down here.

After the show the family did a little “shopping”.  They did not buy anything but saw lots of fun things they did want to buy.  By the time everyone returned to the camper, it was time for bed and they were all ready for it!
